This past quarter, Rock Bottom Christian Ministries intentionally sought the presence of God. In His faithfulness, our Lord met us where we were while continuing to lead the way. Relationships with Christ are deepening, hearts are being redeemed and renewed, trust is forming, community is strengthening, and individuals are responding to the call to surrender all to Jesus Christ.

For the first time, nearly twenty members of the ministry traveled together to Dinkey Creek for a two-night camping trip. Away from the distractions of everyday life, we cooked, prayed, worshiped, hiked, laughed, encouraged one another, and intentionally gave God our time. As we studied Matthew 7:24, we were reminded that hearing the words of Jesus is not enough. We are called to do what He says. A strong community begins with individuals firmly built upon Christ, our universal Cornerstone. Jesus is Lord!

God's faithfulness was also evident throughout our discipleship and outreach ministries. Our Wednesday Bible study continues to grow from the place where it all began, while the Lord provided a new home at Heart to Hands for our Friday gathering. At Wash & Worship #4, the community received 191 loads of laundry along with food, clothing, shoes, school supplies, Bibles, prayer, music, and fellowship. Eighteen additional individuals completed Fresno County Jail volunteer training, bringing the total trained through RBCM to 54. God provides!

The Lord is also strengthening relationships with others who share a heart for those often forgotten. Our partnership with The Salvation Army has helped 33 incarcerated individuals receive acceptance into its faith-based adult rehabilitation program. Valley Missions continues faithfully serving men and women inside Fresno County Jail. Dr. Kurt Whitlow and his team restored dignity through donated dental care. In each of these relationships, we see what can happen when God's people respond to Christ's call of going. Lives redeemed. Dignity restored.

And now, God has opened another door.

As we actively participate with Christ in His mission, compassionate evangelism has led to compassionate discipleship and the development of Rock Bottom Church of the Nazarene. We are humbled by what the Lord is doing. By the power of the Holy Spirit, God continues redeeming and renewing people as we reach for Him and others. Please be in prayer over this new element of ministry. God is faithful!

As we enter our busiest season, the opportunities to serve continue. Our Turkey Drive, Thanksgiving Dinner, Toy Drive, jail ministry, discipleship efforts, and upcoming ministry inside Fresno County Jail and Juvenile Hall all provide opportunities to make the love of Christ known. We ask you to pray, volunteer, give, and participate.

We are humbled as God continues to lead. May we remain willing to follow, surrendering ourselves to Christ and actively participating in His mission.

God is faithful. Jesus is Lord.
